I started my career as a water damage technician and worked my way up in the insurance restoration industry for a period of 14 years. During this period, I became trained in water damage restoration, fire/smoke/odor remediation and mold remediation. I always had a goal of owning and operating my own business but did not know what that business would be. Along the way I gained experience in helping people recover from disasters to their home and business properties. During my tenure I gained valuable experience in the process of restoration and how to accurately and fairly estimate the cost of restoring a property to pre loss condition. Using my contractor experience I decided to further my career and became an independent adjuster and signed on with an IA firm and worked as a staff adjuster for a little more than 8 years. After becoming an independent adjuster, I realized that owning a business that involved claim handling was a good fit. I enjoy working with carrier adjusters and insureds, completing inspections, accurately estimating for damages, and helping to settle claims fairly.

I was born and raised in Central Michigan and moved to Traverse City, MI in 2014 and fell in love with the natural beauty this area offers. I am married to my beautiful wife Jessica, and we have two incredible girls Madison and Leah. In my down time I love spending time with family and friends, camping and playing golf.
